Product Description

Polycaprolactone (PCL) is a biodegradable polyester with a low melting point of about 60°C and a glass transition temperature of about -60°C. PCL has low temperature molding, high plasticity, certain memory function, reusable, excellent bonding function, biodegradable, environmentally friendly, non-toxic, good skin friendliness, very good permeability to drugs, and in vivo compatibility with biological cells, cells can grow normally on its substrate, and can be degraded to CO2 and H2O.

PCL, as a biocompatible biodegradable medical material, is often used in long-acting sustained release dosage forms of drugs due to its long degradation time and is particularly suitable for the development and application of polycaprolactone microsphere carriers.
